I love Aubrey Plaza, I love Donald Glover, I love Bill Hader, I love Andy Samberg. I even secretly love Rachel Bilson outside of The OC. Now I can look forward to loving them in 'The To Do List' which is set for a Valentine's Day release. Even better.
I laughed out loud while watching, which is strange and unknown territory for a prudish Brit who generally finds slapstick sexual comedy very unnerving. I blame American Pie in all its misogony, as well as my heritage for my closed off attitude. But, 'The To Do List' looks like it may well be capable of smashing my inhibitions, there's a chance I might even leave the cinema able to say 'blow job' aloud. It would seem that no matter what she's making fun of, Aubrey Plaza is able to make her comedy relatively subtle. And I like that. God bless youthful American despondency.
