Like a myriad of hotly anticipated albums of late - PJ Harvey in particular - Lykke Li's sophomore, Wounded Rhymes, comes replete with internet hype and pre-stream, pre-release schtick. Which is fine, because it really is a brilliant album (you can check out a review HERE) and she's rounding all this out with a free stream of the album-proper over on Hype Machine. I said in the aforementioned review that she'll probably be one of the bigger alternative-to-mainstream crossovers of the year and I stand by it, and she totally deserves it. Watery, ephemeral European pop has seldom been so accessible, well, at least since The xx. Check out the album stream HERE and have a look at the accompanying videos below. 'Get Some' is like a weird amalgamation of Beyonce's 'Ring on it' and Beck's 'Gamma Ray' and I like it.
