Everyone's a photographer these days, but some are more legitimate than others. Yeah Yeah Yeah's guitarist Nick Zinner has been documenting mainly the band (and their fans) over the years, compiling his dishevelled rock 'n roll imagery in a couple of books, I Hope You Are All Happy Now and Please Take Me Off The Guest List in which the fans take centre stage. Citing the likes of Ryan McGinley and Terry Richardson as stylistic influences, he, like them, made the jump from art form to commercial enterprise when Lee commissioned him to shoot a campaign for a series of rock-oriented denim styles. While the campaign is yet to be revealed, Pedestrian have posted these telling out-takes and behind the scenes snaps from the shoot that envisaged a wild night out in Manhattan's East Village.
