I love a decent sock and sandal combo, and Twenty-seven names have totally nailed that in their look book for S2011 Still Water Runs Deep, with adorable heart-printed socks and roman sandals (note: I never wore this footwear at high school so do not have the resolute hatred for them as I have found, through evil stares and mock-vomit actions when I wore them throughout summer, Aucklanders posesss).
The collection combines tried and true pieces from Anjali Stewart and Rachel Easting's previous few collections - loose fitting chiffon shirts, bow ties, drop waist smock dresses, capes - but offers a more mature bent with two-toned waist-pinched dresses, thoughtfully cut sleeveless shirts and a new take on their signature khaki chino pants. They have also featured their diffusion line, &Co in this look book, which from my understanding is a series of basics - cardigans, t-shirts and sweaters - to compliment the rest of the collection, sure to be a staple in the wardrobe of the legion of Twenty-seven names fans, who can now access the brand worldwide through online mega-store Asos.
Zippora Seven is the lone model through the look book, and in case you missed this, Kelly Thompson and Derek Henderson are collaborating on a book on her, full frontal photography and all.
