Yes this is a blog post about Alexa Chung. Yes this is a blog post about fashion + Alexa Chung. Yes, we realise this = The Most Overplayed Blog Post Ever. We have resisted until this point, but the multi-tasking model / presenter / DJ / designer has now added a further / to her resume with stylist. Chung was asked by good English pals Luke Stenzhorn and Christopher Gove of label Percival to style their Autumn-Winter 2011-12 look book, which is set in a Blair Witch Project-imbued traditional European countryside. Considering the unisex collection consists of capes, chinos and girlish mini dresses, Chung has transferred her personal style into these series of images, shot by Sam Irons.
It's life imitating art - or the reverse? - for Chung, who has already assisted a couple of brands in achieving the 'Alexa' (and the publicity that accompanies it). She has designed collections for Madewell and endorsed plimsoll brand Superga, and the only question left to ask is will anyone ever tire of her preppy nonchalance? If this latest collaboration is anything to go by, probably not, but it does beg the question: where the true creatives at? Decide whether you're still digging Alexa Chung, with the images from Percival W2011-12:
