Named after architect Charles Garnier, the Palais Garnier (Parisian Opera House) was inaugurated in 1875 and served as the principle venue to the Paris Opera until 1989. A mixture of Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque architecture, the interior is a feast of golden light and craftsmanship. Light defines the form and hue of the amazingly detailed walls, ceilings and floors.
'Parisian Lights' is the first in a series of photographs taken during my time in Paris.
