Ah! Just re-loaded this page and my text has disappeared. Was a great step forward for the new Madame Hawke and with Chelsea Jade - accompanied by Jeremy Toy of She's So Rad and Alistar Deverick of The Ruby Suns - providing live backing music cemented Liam's place as the new workwear of choice for the creatively minded professional - more text soon, but to the pictures, the pictures!
UPDATE: Found the text, it was down the post. Apologies Fashion Week ARGH!
Chelsea Jade of Auckland band Watercolours was the absolutely perfect choice for musical accompaniament for Liam's (nee Madame Hawke) debut show at New Zealand Fashion Week. Elegant, mature with the appropriate amount of quirk Emily Miller-Sharma sent a collection that mirrored these characteristics down the runway to her beautiful track 'Under'. With a major palette of navys, aquas and neutrals the pieces were simple, work-to-eveningwear appropriate garments for the woman the older sister brand to Ruby is obviously targeted for. As Jade's beautiful scrawl - accompanied by Alistar Deverick of The Ruby Suns and Jeremy Toy of She's So Rad (both amazing bands!) - emanated throughout the industrial space in Grey Lynn (ironically an old printing press) as the models did their final, collective walk through, Liam firmly established itself as the workwear of choice for the creative-minded professional.
