SS2012 - OPENING CEREMONY

A little flower power, a little oriental, a little eighties, Opening Ceremony have really gone to town on the influences that drive their Spring 2012 look book. Shot by Tim Barber and styled by Sara Moonve models Daiane Sondré, Hyoni Kang, and Camille Rowe pose in Opening Ceremony-animated fashion against hyper-coloured back drops with flowers (often literally) coming out their ears.

There are a few questionable appropriations of the disparate influences - a grass green cotton dress with skirt panelling shaped like flower petals, for example - but as always there are some covetable pieces in this lot - the gold and black striped bodice being one of the many.
