What are your thoughts on footless tights? I know, me neither, but in Karl Lagerfeld's latest collection - a line for a series of pop-up shops in various fashion capitals of the world - they make a couple of OK appearances. However, they're still totally the weakest link in what is an overtly wearable, covetable collection. Monochromatic, athletic with leather gloves a-plenty the pieces are industrial and androgynous; knee length sleeveless trenches and masculine suiting (white shirting, black metallic pants) being the key pieces.
In weird 'I don't know what's going on but I like it' Lagerfeld fashion, he threw a party at his house in celebration of his new collection and invited Azealia Banks to recite her blog-famous track '212'. And while this song sort of feels like The Ting Tings 2.0 territory, she doesn't do a bad job of belting it out with minimal set-up.
