Aaaaaaages ago now I was waiting for hair and make-up to be completed for a shoot and discovered Leutton Postle, a pretty incredible knitwear brand from London. More recently our very own Chelsea Jade Metcalf AKA Watercolours was wearing a piece from the collection for an article on The Guardian's online platform about why New Zealander's love knitwear (we have a lot of sheep, making it relatively inexpensive, plus it is cold).
So, it's time to post the SS2012 lookbook. A kaleidoscopic haze of colour and texture the designers Sam Leutton and Jenny Postle have taken one humble fibre and turned it into a sumptuous, all encompassing collection of pants, dresses, tops and - of course - sweaters. Whether it's loosely woven, sparcely populating a dress or dripping from a crew, wool has never looked this interesting.
