Ex Sonic Youther (RIP) Kim Gordon has teamed up with seminal French label Surface to Air to produce a capsule collection with a specific goal: to be the perfect wardrobe for heading out on the road. The New York Times' T Style blog reports that Gordon and Surface to Air have produced a 12-piece collection that - although we can't find any imagery (watch this space) - apparently combines "tangerine pants, black, brown and snakeskin boots...and a t-shirt printed with Gordon's own illustrations".
Gordon is no newbie to fashion collaborations. A style icon herself, Gordon launched the seminal X-Girl line in the nineties (modelled by Chloe Sevigny, who has now teamed up with another nineties brand, Vision Street Wear, for her latest Opening Ceremony collaboration) and has modelled for the likes of Uniqlo.
The Surface to Air collection will be available this month, but in the mean time let's reminisce over what Gordon does best.
