Stephanie Di Giusto is currently the leading director in fashion film, as part of a dream team with Vanessa Bruno they have collaborated on five short films for the designer and recently released another, Moonlight.
Kate Bosworth is cast perfectly and shows how important the use of an actor is, rather than just a model- in the fashion film genre models who can act seem few and far between, or maybe that’s just good casting agents. The short feels like a cross between Barbarella and Melancholia, and while possibly not as good as their last offering, it does have really good direction, the same witty approach and fantastic location design.
