Swedish brand Uniforms For the Dedicated and TreeHotel have teamed up for a video that promotes both Uniforms For the Dedicated's Summer 2012 collection and the sustainable heart of both brands.
Uniforms for the Dedicated use recycled materials and natural fibres to create classic and long-lasting items of clothing while TreeHotel - a Swedish hotel chain - have built a series of treehouses in the depths of Sweden's forests to draw attention to the fact that living spaces can be both beautifully designed and have a minimal impact on their environment.
The TreeHotel treehouses set the scene for Blue Cone Colony in which a series of possessed, bearded models to interact within, and as their eyes roll back in their head and they slowly but surely acknowledge each other, the viewer gets a real appreciation for the delicate interaction between human beings and their environments. Check it out below followed by some imagery of the TreeHotels, which are super impressive in themselves and kind of look like what would happen if an internationally renowned architect got their hands on one of the sexy, love hotels Gemma talked about in her Wednesday Favourites recently.
