I foolishly bought a polar fleece hooded dressing gown in the middle of summer – or so I thought. Now it’s autumn and I’m writing this while hiding under a duvet, wrapped in the dressing gown (hood up) with Dumbo pyjamas and knitted owl slippers on (grown up).
What are you wearing?
WARM THOUGHTS. WARM THOUGHTS. WARM THOUGHTS.
Hibernate inside the computer?
Hibernate inside the computer?
No, better than that - ESCAPE TO A TROPICAL ISLAND WITH TORTOISES.
In 1962 a man from Yorkshire, UK, bought a tiny island called Moyenne for £8000. Over the last five decades, Brendon Grimshaw has turned the almost treeless speck of land in the Indian Ocean into a tropical paradise. He's also been reintroducing native tortoises.
After turning down multiple million dollar offers to purchase the island (and sanctuary), Mr Grimshaw is now the proud owner of one of the world's smallest national parks. Hooray!
Alternatively, you could heat up with some tequila, a fireman and a kitten.
I don't think that was any sexier than me asking you what you were wearing above and following it up with a sad puppy. But, if it got you in the "mood" for more, then you might enjoy some ringtones made from endangered species’ mating calls.
IN COOL NEWS:
These guys are still friends:
Corky the cat, born with back-to-front and twisted hind legs, is on the way to eventually (probably) (hopefully) walking like a normal cat.
This cat is really happy about Corky being on the road to recovery:
Last but not least, I give you a shark with a laser beam attached to it in real life and not for a movie (apparently for "science")?
