When even a scandal regarding the rights of your factory workers can't slow you down, you know you're onto a good thing. Alexander Wang has just presented his resort 2012-13 and it connects the dots between the nineties minimalism that has been prevalent across the resort collections, and his unique brand of sportswear-oriented separates.
Leather, utilitarian cotton and transparent chiffon have been draped in flat, oriental lines in Wang's requisite monochromatic colour palette, thus creating a nonchalant form of power-suiting. Unless, of course, you opt for the bondage crop-top, which is what I imagine one would wear in an extremely stylish psychiatric unit - the horror movie backdrop in the look book isn't helping matters here.
