IN TEN SHOTS - ZAMBESI SUMMER 2012-13

Always Sometimes Anytime were kindly invited to Vulcan Lane a couple of weeks ago to have a sneak peak at Zambesi's Summer 2012-13 collection. Not a standard, flicking through the racks affair, we had the opportunity to style the outfits on a pair of models who were diligently adhering to our wishes, even though it was 4pm and they'd probably been adhering to everybody's wishes all day #professionals. I didn't actually give it a go - I was way out of creative steam - but I did take a series of FUJIFILM Instax Mini 7's for our 'In Ten Shots' feature, which you can check out below.

The collection itself is an exercise in texture and the marriage of street and luxe. So a Scandinavian camo print has been printed onto lace, which offsets a series of black satin and silk separates. There's a sequin story replete with perfectly draped collars, and one of my favourite fabrics, a sort of candy-cane, kaleidoscopic moire which Widika models in the shift dress, below.
