Scandinavian band Sigur Ros have undertaken a video project to compliment an array of their tracks. Called the Valtari Mystery Film Experiment the band have recruited a bunch of directors and actors - including a very naked, theatrical Shia LaBeouf (leBUFF, LOL) - and in the latest Ryan McGinley takes the reigns and...doesn't make everyone naked! The clip - 'No. 6' in 'the experiment' - for song 'Varúð' features a girl with exceptional gold-glitter-hair skipping through the streets of New York City, happily unconcerned with the traffic / people / daily mess and noise of the big smoke. Like most of McGinley's work it's all about escapism and living in the 'here and now', and wouldn't it be totally amazing if all of us thought a little bit more like this girl?
Speaking of McGinley, have you seen his totally NSFW cover for Bat for Lashe's new album The Haunted Man? It's below, along with his original image we think it was inspired by.
