Writer and director of-the-moment - and my future BFF - Lena Dunham has recruited Ultimate Human Jon Hamm for her latest effort (imagine being able to recruit Jon Hamm for your latest effort!); a short clip promoting the New Yorker's iPhone app. The clip sees Hamm interviewing Dunham in a mock late-night talk show setting, during which a short plays where Dunham plays the New Yorker editor and explains the New Yorker app. to her assistant, A.K.A the best character in Girls (and the 'Nietzschean Cowboy' for those of you who have seen Tiny Furniture), Alex Karpovsky. It's a whole lot of LOLs for an advertisement, and you know what, it's for the New Yorker, so who really cares if it's not-so-secretly selling us stuff?
